Chief Seattle's Amazing Sky Store

A Barleyfish project, commissioned by the Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton. First performed at the Brewhouse August 2001 by children (mostly 9-11years of age) for a summer project, culminating in a street theatre performance.
An ecological tale based on 'Chief Seattle's Testimony'.

Hunky Punks and Water Witches

A Barleyfish project - Commissioned by the Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, Taunton 1999.
A story about the 'Hunky Punks' (similar to gargoyles) that sit on Somerset Churches, the things they have seen and the stories they can tell.

Written and performed with the help of children (mostly 9-11years of age) for a summer project, culminating in a street theatre performance as part of Taunton's 1999 Water Festival.

Music and songs were written by singer-songwriter Phil Bird with the help of the project's children.

Tamara and the Giants

A Barleyfish project, commissioned by the Brewhouse Theatre.
Based on a Devon legend, a tale about a nymph who lived under the hills of Dartmoor, who loved to play and dance in the sunshine. Then she made friends with two giants, much against her father's wishes.
Written by myself, with songs written by Phil Bird. The project's children helped to develop the script to suit themselves, and wrote many of the words for the songs. The project culminated in street theatre in Taunton, 2000.
