Gothic Horror and Gothic Romance - Kilve Court

Event Date:

Friday, April 19, 2013 - 17:30 to Sunday, April 21, 2013 - 15:00

A really spine chilling story is totally compelling reading – especially if love and loss is woven into it as well. Even in the light of science and the 21st century, we still devour books about gloomy corridors, misty vistas and echoing crypts as if they were warm, fresh blood…But why? What is the psychology of horror and grief that makes us want to visit it again and again? What is the fascination of lost love and hope?

Magyk Ink - Kilve Court

Event Date:

Friday, June 7, 2013 - 18:30 to Sunday, June 9, 2013 - 15:00

Some stories are so real, you feel as if you actually ‘live’ inside them. When you put the book down, you’re still ‘there’! It’s as real as Narnia – the snow is cold, the drinking chocolate is hot. Have you ever read a ghost story and been too scared to go to bed?
