Plague at the Palace

This is one-day practical, in-depth writers’ workshop at the Bishop’s Palace, Wells bishopspalace.org.uk. It’s perfect for anyone who loves history and wants to write about it, either as creative non-fiction, or ‘faction’ (creative factually-based writing), or just as a loose basis for a rollicking made-up story. Complete beginners welcome.

On Oct 18th, we’ll be focusing on The Black Death as it affected Wells and the surrounding area.

Your tutors will be historian Dr Mark Hutchinson, and author Beth Webb, co authors of ‘Broken Angels’ an creative re-imagining of actual events at Glastonbury Abbey in 1408
